    These numbers?

    AAxBBxCC?

AA and BB are typically ID of the spring. Idk if kawasaki uses some spring that is different or something. I wouldnt really get hung up on that

    AAxBBxlength

that is awesome. I would be brimming with excitement as well lol.

Got back from the Hawaii trip last night. unfortunately did not rent a moto for the sake of sticking with the bachelor who i've known since high school. Wish I had though because the golfing we did was more expensive than renting for a day and I don't even like golf lol.

Overall a solid trip, wasn't able to make virtually any of @nd4spdbh 's recommendations unfortunately because I got outvoted, except doing road to hana. But still a good trip. can post some pics if anyone cares but nothing moto related.

doesn't seem they have helmet laws over there, almost everyone I saw riding had no helmet or even a hat, and definitely no gear. I'm guessing the only people who I saw geared up were tourists. Guess I'll have to go back solo to do a moto trip because the roads there are very well paved.

Glad to be back on my bike this morning, but looks like rain the next couple days for us.

Yeah its wild, no helmet laws..... but you CANT lane split. I was pretty much the only one in a full face helmet and moto jacket when I was out there.

Whered yall go on road to hana?

Post up what they say. A guy on another forum needed a heavier rear spring as well. Got with Race Tech, and they sent him a spring from Eibach. I didn’t find out what the poundage was, but think (pretty sure) the last two of the part number is the weight in kilograms (freakin metric system). See highlighted pic borrowed from @Sacrifice

    IMG_0364.jpg

That said, Eibach’s site appears to follow suit, minus the last number.

I punched in rough numbers for me.

    https://eibach.com/moto-search?year=2023&make=Kawasaki&model=KLX300.

I have been meaning to call both to find out more info, but have yet to.

Back to the spring itself.. if it is measured anything like spring weight (aftermarket) on vehicles, cool deal. The varried set weight Lbs per compressed inch. But instead.. in kilograms per millimeters. On the mm side, I do not know they compress too with out googling it.

Wild stuff lol. I think I saw 2 guys with full gear, had to be tourists. the rest were all in flip flops, jeans/shorts, a tee shirt, and sunglasses.

We went out p early, got to the start around 7:30 like you suggested. Pretty much drove straight to black sand beach to get there for our reservation only stopping for one quick view point and a bathroom stop, hung out there and swam for a couple hours. Drove a little further after, past Hana Ranch Restaurant (despite my suggestion), to Huli Huli Chicken, had lunch there, then drove back along the North side making a stop at Twin Falls to hike a few trails there. Overall took most of the day, I think we got back around 5PM.

I was hoping to hit a few more spots along the way back, but we spent a little too much time at the chicken place eating, and a few of the guys wanted to get back in time to get one last surf session in.

Measure in b/t the forks(or even outside to outside). That should give you a decent idea. Kinda hard to tell not seeing it from the front.

Does anyone have any first hand reasons why NOT to get a Tenere 700? I've read and watched every imaginable thing about them I can find.

Are you short? That's about the only reason I'd think of not to get one.

I'm not short. It's sort of the Tacoma of motorcycles the way I see it.
