Much of the time I head out on my own. My g/f likes to go grocery shopping, do meal prep, cook, work in the yard, or go to the pool on weekends most of the time. Even though I never restarted my streak of riding every single day from a few years back I still try to ride every day I can. I try to accomplish all of my household chores and duties through the week so I can have all weekend to do the things I actually enjoy. She finds putzing around the house relaxing, I find it torturous.

Man, your weather looks like it was lightyears better than ours. We didn't really see the sun in OC this weekend.

I've heard the snake is opening back up at the end of June. Can't wait to get back out that way!

That's the wife and I. Hardly ever do anything without the other. Was telling her something last week and she says, yeah you told me that before, don't you have any new stories? I'm like, how would I have any you don't know about? We're always together, lol.

Yup. rode to CnC on Saturday and got rained on a bit on the way up. Did a nice long ride afterwards out to Julian for some bbq and pie. Really starting to enjoy this Ducati. Need to bleed the rear brakes though, pretty sure there’s air in the lines

Changed out my forks today. 630mm to 680mm so the front sits up a bit more. Felt like i was sitting leaned forward by my ass. Feels much better now.

Went out this morning to wet sand the monkey tank. I was able to get the fuzz spots sanded down then I started sanding the entire tank. Got some contamination in the sand paper which caused some pretty big scratches. I didn’t see them until I started to polish. I found a better way to keep the sand paper clean and wet so it won’t happen again. I started over with 1000 all the way to 3000 but the scratches were too deep and into the base coat. I stripped the tank and will try again. This time I will put two coats of clear, do a better job at keeping crap out of the clear and also do a better job at wet sanding.
I don’t mind doing it over because it’s a good learning experience.

Ill believe that when I see it.... its been shutdown for YEARS with minimal repairs needed (it was one half washed out section of road that caused the shutdown)... Since the shutdown, full resident access via locked gates, walking and bicycling permitted without issue.... and with the recent fires in the very near area tons of other necessary repairs to roads are in queue.

Im betting years more till that re-opens given the money/elite status/party alignment influences how roads/areas are opened and closed in CA especially SoCal.

What are you using for clear? It's amazing how much better a 2k system works than a single stage. Learned that lesson one my CB750 tank years ago, the second time I stripped and painted it.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
Had to run into the Hardware to get some parts for the "Giant-Vac" walk behind.

We are having a few days of chill and rain, but I took the VFR anyway. Boy was I glad to have opted to put on that Gerbing's heated vest!

    It's the little things.......
