I had the impression they actually limited the RPM. If it was a deal they could do that to the ecu. That almost sounds like a shift light. My old gsxr had a shift light I could program to blink at me.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
oh ok thats more like it. if they told you you cant reprogram the shift light till after 600 miles then im guessing it has nothing to do with the dealer actually doing anything. just have a low shift light for 600 miles. the bmw RRs actually limit the revs until the service

Yeah, They showed me the setting to change it but the menu is unavailable until it hits 600 miles. Dumb since its close and the service is done.

    Why are you selling?

Yep! I have to actually change it. The menu is unavailable until it hits 600. I was under the impression that they had to do something that only a dealer could do from what I read on the forums but nope, just a simple setting change.

Just getting out of street specific bikes. Too much traffic in socal now. It's only fun to ride it at 6am on a weekend. Too many speeding tickets. Made it 12 years without dying.
Liked the bike. Just decided time to switch back to mostly dirt with a bit of street. Happy it went to a bike loving old guy that is going to take good care of it.

Starting to get used to the 350. It's a fun bike, for sure. All that white, I almost don't want to get the thing dirty lol. Probably try racing it at the end of the month in the yearly GP that my local track does.

I want electric start on my dirt bike.
Did my first desert trip this weekend. Rode out in Johnson Valley OHV. Where they do the king of the hammers in February. I'll see if any of my gopro came out once I shuffle through it.

The track season is over for me so I have my Honda torn apart for the winter refresh. Gonna do its regular maintenance, re-tighten the loose head bearing, upgrade the master brake cylinder and rotors, delete the cat, and install some electronic goodies. Also thinking about repainting the fairings too..

Installed a SC-Project exhaust on my RSV4 a couple of months ago and it sounds wicked

Any advice for somebody looking to pick one up? I'm just now starting to do my research on them and decide which one I want to go with. What's a fair used price for one? I see them priced all over the place seems like
