yup sales tax is when we register the vehicle at the dmv. as stated you can put it on the loan but honestly why...? then you are upside down how ever much that is!

 

Anyone interested in buying my Zumo XT? Ill get some pictures soon. I have most of the accessories that came with it except the Ram ball with AMPS pattern. 2x mount brackets with the power plug. Great condition, no scratches on the screen, etc.

Id probably ask $380 shipped to lower 48

Yeah, in my world out the door is everything. If you’re buying in WA as a WA resident, dealers will do the DMV shit for you, no second trips. Tax, plate fee, licensing, all included in the out the door price. In my mind that is every single cent you pay to own and register.

 

Suzuki adds $600 on. Right below the “base” MSRP, so $9599 total.

 

same here, and even for neighboring states. I would only go to the DMV if I was buying privately.

But dealers dont advertise the OTD price. Its MSRP + the extra stuff. You sit down with a finance guy to go over down payment, tax, etc.

PA is like that as well. Everything is handled at the dealership, they even have license plates right there.

 

huh interesting! i know here if you do it at the dealer they send it by mail. they dont have plates there... so 9/10 you gotta go to the dmv

ah forgot about the destination fee. some places do wave that thou not many thou!

 

my buddy had one and overall disliked it a lot.. i thought it was a fun bike but not the best looking one lol

Yeah, I know, but Jacob was saying a price was "OTD" when it didn't include anything of the licensing or taxes, so not out the door.

Our dealers here usually print a temporary plate on this waterproof paper stuff, and then you get the plate in the mail a few weeks later.

 

for me that is otd thou... otd im meaning out the dealer doors... the taxes and registration for me is a completely different price... if you wanna know how much it would be its another 500 bucks... (this also depends on the cost of the vehicle... i just know 500 because that was the tracers price being 10k)

ah we can get temp tags but we still have to go to the dmv to get our registration and stuff done. we get 30-60 day tags and then we go to the dmv to register it.




i do not include what i pay at the dmv as otd price because it isnt out the door of the dealer for me.

 

You should look up the Martin Edition. Throwback to the OG cool moto days. Marlboro and Playboy sponsor graphics on the side and everything!

 

890 doesn't come with gold wheels, so is automatically loses.

Even loses out to the sad sacks with ATs that don't have gold wheels because they don't have to worry about melting camshafts.

Finally got my new to me 2023 TE300i. It's bittersweet because it was my buddies who passed in December. He was a mentor to me who I loved riding with and his wife was kind enough to sell me his bike.

Sorry for your loss man, I remember you posting a lot of good memories when he passed on IG. Glad you got his bike though and can keep that memory with you.
