Yup! Also, the vehicle brochure always give peak HP and torque. IDC what it peaks at. I want to see the dyno curve.

Prime example, people say the 5.0 coyote in the F150 is bad because it's peak power (400 HP) and torque (410 lb-ft) is at something like 5K RPM, but IIRC it makes 90% of that by something like 1800-2000 RPM. It's got plenty of grunt and go long before peak.

By the same notion, if a bike were to make crazy high numbers but it's really flat with a sudden spike to the peak, then it's going to feel like shit to ride.

The spec sheet is all about marketing, and marketing is just lying as legally as possible. People need to look deeper.

1000%. Loved the Marlboro racing schemes.

Fucked around with the new bike in my yard log hope course today. Goddamn that instant power curve is nuts when I am trying to load the flywheel.

Als ya'll are complaining about riding in the heat, I'll be riding in the woods Sunday in 90+ degree heat in the morn and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Haven't ridden since May and nothings stopping me.

just a couple of things tbh
Haha there is and I've looked at that one. ATM not doing anything since we are not needing a touring bike since the gf is wanting to ride more her self so that means trailer things to places.
I liked the red more tbh lol. But I've also never been a huge silver fan
Ya the split dash is funky but it's pretty nice

Couldn't be me, I'd melt. Spending a week outside in the 100* Little Rock sun a few weeks ago about snuffed me.

Bought these today, retired my cheap summer set.

Ran into the previous owner of my bike that did all its modifications. Was really cool learning where the bike actually came from. He re-spring the front and put and ohlin in the rear, which explains why my bike ADV rides so firm.

Finally stopped procrastinating about redoing the powder on the fender for that guy. It’s in the oven with its first coat of clear. Will do one more after this has partially cured. Then after the next coat it will get a full oven cure. Can’t wait to get this done. Not sure I am cut out to do work for other people.

Same. I have a vinyl gig on the side, and I realized quickly that I hate doing work for other people since it takes the "hobby" out of it for me. Currently only do gigs for friends and family, plus some stuff around my work if the pay is right.

Rare occasion that’s it’s actually clean. Just did the rear tire, rear brake pads, chain and sprockets and an oil and filter change. Next service is going to be a big teardown but that will wait until the winter.

I like silver, but that red looks sweet. You can always wrap it. You like projects anyway. :boink:

Africa twin is my current stable wish list. Hoping to test ride one soon. I cant imagine owning one that has a white base layer like that, I'd feel so guilty for not cleaning it. Ideally I'd want the red and blue one, but who knows.

Aren't all ATs either black or white bases?
