The Thork Racing DMD T865X looks like its going to fit right in on my bike

and eventually I need to fab a bracket to move it above the other screen

With my early dual sport, the height and upright seating position is what people comment about the most
I can get on it without standing on one of the pegs to get over it, and then stand there flat footed and kick it over. Quite a lot of people that are amazed by that compared to more modern bikes

My wr was lifted, most people couldn’t tip toe my bike, we finally lowered it down because I was having issues on hill climb stalls. I’m 6 3 and can’t flat foot it.

 

I didn't do a lot of dirt biking on large bikes, but when I did I never felt all that uncomfortable. I always just stopped where the terrain made it easy. Park in a rut or put my foot on a small stump, or even an ATV tire. On the street it's much more uncomfortable not getting both feet on the ground. Obviously I was far less worried about tipping or dropping the bike, too.

 

My issue was hill climbs and stalls, the worst is when someone in front of me dumped their bike and I had to bail on a nasty grade. Always hard to get going again.

I didnt believe my buddies that my bike was lifted until I went to a moto store and I found out my seat was higher than all the "real" dirt bikes. It was nice when I needed the clearance though. Street riding sucked lol.

My ADV bike is lifted and the seat is about 34" plus my seat pad, its a bit stupid too. My WR is 36" now.

id like to point out i have all the documents i signed and copied showing im not responsible for the loan or the bike anymore.


but anyways back when i sold the tracer back to the dealer i asked when they were going to send the check since i want this loan taken off immediately. i was told they were going to send it out over night tonight and it should be taken care of in a week. alright cool ill check in a week. i check annnnnd i still have a loan in my name open stating it has a payment due on the 11th... i called the loan company and talked with them and asked about it... they stated nobody has called nobody has sent anything to us or emailed us about it.. so atm we are unsure but please send us a copy of the documents over email so we can see you are not responsible for the loan anymore. she then told me i might have to call the dealer again and ask

how much did they mail?
when did they mail it?
to what address did they mail it?
and what was the check number?

so hurray im not done with this shit...

dude it honestly is! i called dells and grilled them on everything and i was told oh we sent the check a few days ago... so you didnt send it over night on the day after we did this like you said you would?? umm no we didnt sorry.... but just keep an eye on it and it should be taken care of in 3-4 days if not give us a call... sure sounds good if it hits the 11th and im owed a damn payment im going to be pissed just letting you know... oh it shouldnt take that long! we wont try and screw you over!

Unbelievable! There is just zero excuse for this sort of incompetence. Make sure you document every single email, letter, phone conversation, text, or anything else until all of this is settled. This really sucks man.

crazy how i, as an escrow officer, have made auto loan payoffs for clients in a more timely manner than them.

 

yaaa its pretty damn stupid tbh...

when i paid off my 13 tacoma i went into the bank and it was done... my klx i sent the check overnight and it took 2 days after that... 15 taco online payment and it took a day or two, 17 f150 was done in a day... so idk whats taking them so long on this shit...

 

This has to be a one-off deal. I don't see how if they even did it 5% of the time the word would get out. Most people would have already drug them over the coals on all forms of social media.

I will be the first to admit that most times people's expectations are insanely high(at least in an ER setting) compared to reality.....but damn. This seems like they won't stay in business long if they continue. I would like to see how the folks that freak out over their fast food order being wrong would handle this. They'd burn that bitch to the ground
