I have a feeling 95% or more of the time, the people that show up know even less than the sales guys... So many people know NOTHING about vehicles.

I've come to realize, a lot of people in sales don't actually put any effort into trying to sell things.

if you want to kill it in sales, all you gotta do is know a little bit about whatever it is you are selling and when a customer asks for something (question, quote, etc), get it to them in a timely fashion.. its amazing how rare this is to find these days.

Man if I keep the 701 this winter I'm really, really tempted. Just the small loop base and a couple medium size bags for quick grocery runs or whatever after work. I've been eyeing the mosko moto trail 16 setup but this looks so much more flexible and like 1/5th the price. I'll be keeping an eye out for sure.

Also been getting instagram ads for a COMPLETE mosko knockoff company called viking bags. Seems about 1/2 to 1/3 of the price of mosko moto, but I have no idea the quality and just kind of hate how much they're ripping off mosko's designs. It's the SAME design.

Had my very first ride in the states and few days ago in WA. My wife and friend surprised me, totally the last thing I'd expect to do. Amazing experience and a really fun bike.

I've seen and like the Viking. The YT vids seem to like them.

Viking isn't new. I just think they catered more to the Cruisier market until more recently.

Take a look at the Rhinowalk stuff. It's cheap and does great for me. I had them on when I wrecked and they made it through

My main problem is not having a rack, which would make it much easier to attach them. The rack I wanted went way up in price thanks to the tariffs, and I'm still wondering about not spending money and trying to buy another bike instead of modding this one.

The saddlebags don't use a rack if that helps

Don't you need to attach the rear straps to something? to keep them pulling forward? some folks are able to rap a strap around the rear lights on my bike, but don't love that idea.

The CRF has factory rear "lugs" that I've seen people use. I ran one of the cross straps in b/t my rear rack and didn't need to tie off on the rear.

I've seen people run a strap under the taillight as well, but it rubs the plastic and the light pretty significantly.

Went out for another Klx ride today. Did about 66 miles. Stopped at two dealers. I checked out the new Ktm 390smcr. It looks ok but IMO my klx looks better. It does have more hp but not enough for me to want it. Price is real good though for what you get. Tft and quick shifter. The the next dealer I sat on a 25 xsr900 and the Hornet 750 back to back. The xsr is pretty sweet and has a new 5” Tft which is pretty cool. Then got home and did an oil change. Also put the DB killer back in the barker exhaust. Just too loud with it open. Did some hwy miles too. It really gets going just fine on the highway. I did order a 15t front sprocket to see what that does to hwy rpm’s. I really don’t mind the wind.

Could you possibly wrap the end straps around this pont?

I've been watching vids on the new KTM 390. It seems to have a flame out issue and they say it really needs to be high in the rev range to get power. I did see one vid where apparently KTM has an update for the ECU and the fueling problem. I still dig the 390 Adventure. That bike just looks so cool. I have so much money in my little Rally that I pretty much have to keep it and I don't need 2 baby adv bikes

I really need a more street oriented one, or a Grom, Trail 125, TW, or sumthin

Possibly, I'm just worried it'd be too far forward. I strap my Nelson Rigg tailbag/backpack there and it's already like a low backrest for me.

Guess if they fit nicely under the bag, so I could use them both together, that might be a plus.

I am partial to the Tusk though, as this would match my bike perfectly...

    since the tank bag matches.
