right lol. month end and a holiday weekend, i'm guessing they were just throwing any ticket they could at people. we were 1 mile from the canyons too.

It sucks that you were the one that ended up with the ticket, but if your friends were doing 91 in a 55, a ticket was deserved by both of them. You can't blame the cop for wanting to pull people over doing 36mph over the speed limit, that's his job. But if you were legitimately not speeding, yeah, you don't deserve a ticket and hopefully you'll get off.

You are obviously going in the right direction by getting your track/racing license stuff. That's the place to be doing those speeds, and hopefully your friends follow suit.

Definitely agreed, I understand why he had to pull someone over. just unfortunate I'm the one who got stuck with it despite doing lower speeds. I was speeding a bit to catch up with them since we were accelerating from a light just before rounding the corner, but not 91 lol. I learned my lesson last time.

The guy who is primarily responsible is a fellow track rider lol. Luckily he has offered to help me pay the ticket if I can't get it dismissed. I'm more concerned about the point though, fine is whatever.

That's great that your friend is willing to help pay for the ticket if it comes to that. I was thinking about suggesting it if they were true friends, lol.

Got an email this morning from my hiring manager. Said they are resending the job offer. I won’t delay this time.
Also my 20year old got his first job ever. Starts training today. It’s at a convenience store. Not exactly sure what he will be doing but very excited.

    None... yet.
Used this - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007Y7CLRW?th=1 - and both tires have been holding air just fine for over 8 months now. I followed JaketheGardenSnakes vid but used electrical tape "squares" over the spoke holes in the rim. Everything looked in great shape when I changed the tire, so I think it was totally worth it.
