Radiator is still full, hallefuckinglujah. I need to go ride it more to see if it stays that way, but there’s a thunderstorm rolling in and I just started watching today’s F1 race

Tried a seal mate to clean up the leaky seal, lots of crud behind the dust cap so hopefully it’ll help seal it up.

I rode for over 50 yrs and taught and I was relieved that my two kids, daughters, had no interest in riding. I would have worried to much. I rarely ever took them on the back of my street bikes because I knew I could not live with myself if something happened to them on a ride.

Tested out the new Spotwalla app on a longer ride today.

    https://spotwalla.com/trip/767b-6cc960c-dad7/view#

Really please with it so far and the only issues so far can be traced completely to user error. Bubbler GPS allowed you to mark locations for things like fuel, food, sleep, and a couple more. The Spotwalla app has a full menu including bonus location for rally use. Both apps allow you to embed photos in your track so others can see what you wish to show them I was trying to use that feature today, but I screwed up in how it operated so the only photo in the track is the last one I took. There should have been 7 others, and I will not screw that up the next time. I'm very impressed with how it follows the roads used as opposed to the Bubbler app which connected the dots in all straight lines. I'll be putting it to the test again next weekend on ride to Johnstown, PA with some friends.

Figured out how to fix the photo issue using the pics off my camera for the GLMC event. Future tracks will be better.

Update: paused the race and went out again for half an hour or so. So far oil is looking better than before (assuming I boiled off some of the coolant I was trying to wash out) and the overflow tank is at the same height. Breathing slightly easier now.

Fork leg is still a little weapy, but better than before I think.

With my kid, it was end of misses riding with me. Honestly feel same. Don’t want her or kiddo to ride with me.

I still ride dirt and really only reason i dont ride the street more is its boring commuting. Also doing morning/evening pickups just made it easier to sell my 690 when i did
