My grom feels this. I think I've ridden it twice in the last year for a couple miles tops each.

I did my old CB750's tank with vinegar and washers, bolts, chains, whatever metal and heavy I had laying around as agitators on the inside. Let it sit for an hour, shake and turn it around, let it sit, repeat for a day. If you go that route, make sure you fog it inside with some kind of oil immediately after you drain/rinse, otherwise it'll flash rust almost instantly.

Any pin holes in it? Or just rusty?

Id use gas/diesel or kerosene for a rinse agent. Definitely not water

Did a Grom run the other night. Almost up to 1500 miles and I have only had it for 6 years :annoyed:

I think just rusty. I could wipe it off with my finger.

Pull the tank and fill it with a box of drywall screws, bottle of vinegar, and shake it up. That should knock most of that crap out.
