you would be the one that likes a smart tv.

id rather just buy a new box to connect to it when needed vs having to buy a new tv when they no longer support the software.

Sludge like that is usually 1 of 2 things - very extended oil change interval or oil additive package compatibility issues.

Plus the amount of your data that the TV co's are selling.. theres a reason they keep getting cheaper, they keep making more off selling your information. I have a smart TV, but it is not connected to the internet. I use streaming boxes with it instead, eventually will move all my TV's to apple tv's. Apple TV's are the only streamer I know of that doesn't have the automatic content recognition whatever built into it. I set up a pi-hole a few months ago and it was AMAZING how many times a day TV's can send surprisingly large packets out to ad services, most of which is now blocked by it.

Also, for the record, not tin foil hat stuff

It's convenient for streaming services, that's about all I use it for.

Sweet. I have a P365 I still need to take shooting. might do that this weekend.

I know y'all don't care. but the Ducati saga continues. now rounding out 3 weeks without the bike, the exhaust gasket we're waiting on shows "Order processing"....so no tracking yet. I even tried to source one myself to see if I could get it quicker...no dice since they all seem to come from italy.

And discovered this morning there is a recall on a bunch of the single sided swingarm models, mine included. Rear axle apparently might take a shit. Dealer said it's not a huge deal to worry about, only happened to 3 bikes out of the same Canada dealership but they've got my axle on order. Hoping it can show up at the same time as my exhaust gasket so I can be done with it all, especially since I'm supposed to be doing a bit of a road trip at the end of the month with this bike.

we'll see how it plays out i guess

I wouldn't be surprised if every single thing with power gets our info. I have a phone, Garmin watch, insulin pump, and CGM sensor on me at all times unless I'm in the shower.....not counting what I'm around at work or home. Plus, I've bought enough pew pews that I'm probably already on a watch list    It's amazing to me that people can hide anything at all these days.

I'm simultaneously hopeful, and not hopeful lol. with the previous incorrect gasket, there were never any updates then one day it showed up. So I'm hoping that's the case. I did try to source one myself but none of the US vendors/dealers seem to have them in stock either.

They had a Sig M17 for $459 at the store when I went and grabbed mine today. I tried to buy one a few years ago...but came out with another Glock. I just can't get away from them.

But speaking of bikes. I saved this 2024 Trail 125 with 40 miles the other day. Got an email with a price drop to $2699

My sister's TV is an early smart TV. She still likes to listen to Pandora on it, but now, it only get like 2 ads a year on it. It's just 99.99999% music for the last several years. I get ads every few songs.

I'll eventually grab one. I just like the fact I can use my Glock mags in my EPC-9.

I may ride over and check the bike out next week while I'm off. Not really a fan of the yellow....but that price seems to good to be true. It's at a dealer....so I'm hoping there's not a bunch of hidden costs.

I mean... the first was was like 24 years before even I was born... but I'm pretty sure I did see it, before the remake with Robin Williams.

One was 18 years before me and one 18 years after. I have never seen either one.
