We’ll update on my father in law. Remember we went over to Spokane a few weeks ago to see him because he was diagnosed with cancer in his upper colon. Well they did surgery yesterday, opened him up and realized the cancer has spread to his stomach and other organs. Not sure exactly but it was everywhere. They ended up not removing anything and sewing him back up. They told his wife that he has 2/6 months left and that’s it. My wife wasn’t surprised because he is 86 and really doesn’t take very good care of himself. Anyway that sucks but it’s part of being a human.

Sorry to hear that, man. Hope everything goes as well and as painlessly as it can for him, your family, and yourself.

I'll second this. I had one on my F800GS for a year or two and the water bladder was really nice but the bag was huge. I'd rack my nuts on it if I was offroad and standing and was lurched forward. I went to their gnat handlebar bag and haven't looked back, sold the nomax on ADVrider for 275 I think?

I looked at the mosko one for my bike but ended up with a Wolfman on the tenere. Giant loop also has a nice one.

One of the things I loved about it when first looking for a tank bag was that it could double as a backpack off the bike. That way I figured it would be easy to unhook and take with me if I wanted... but then I saw it's practically the size of a backpack! That's why eventually I went with a more moderate sized tank bag, and my Nelson Rigg tail bag/backpack.

I think these pictures are great for this conversation.

Never once used the backpack feature when I owned it  And yeah, thing was huge. It was absolutely awesome for touring, you could keep everything in there, but pretty miserable for every day use.

nice ill have to take a look!
ya i was talking to my buddy who owns the red and white t7 and showed him the bag and he told me nope! that thing sucks on a t7! so i asked him why since i have seen others giving a reason on forums.

he told me he got his for free sorta... he bought a ktm 890 or 1290 one of the two i cant remember! and it was already on the bike. he got the ktm to do longer trips with and to leave the t7 for offroad and lighter duty trips. well he one day wanted to try the bag on the t7 since he loved it on the ktm and said it took him one ride to realize he hated it and sold it off to a friend of his.

told me it was constantly in the way it was to big and bulky, if you are offroad then you will hit it as you are standing up, also stated if its stuffed full of stuff it blocks the display a bit. he loved it on the ktm but hated it on the t7 and advised me against it.

he then talked about the wolfman drybags. stating they are a rather high price tbh since you can buy the new nelson rigs side bags for 200 and then a duffle bag on top from tusk for 60 bucks and have the same stuff just new. or he would sell me his nelson rig setup he has for a steal. told him i will think about it but id like to go check these out and see if i cant make a deal on them but idk what to offer as a good deal for the wolfman dry bags.

Buy it and let me know if it shows up!

Also, I really like the quality of my Nelson Rigg backpack! Which bags did your friend offer for sale? You going to get some pannier racks for the T7?
