I said i wasn't going to order anything else, but took advantage of my ebay bucks, and ordered Biltwell Frisco bars, and the brake lines to go with it. Stupid ABS! Im still mad about that.

Still need to get some grips, clutch line, and throttle lines. They will clean everything up though

My best guess is that by lifting the tank's front mount, it lifts the pickup above the fuel at low levels. You get this pocket of fuel at the back of the tank that sits below the pickup. Capacity stays the same, but you can't get the last bit of fuel out of the tank.

I was also thinking the tank was lifting and then that made me think aero reducing the mileage and I said, self ain't no way two inch aero change will reduce mileage that much.

Guess if @fatfurious2 runs out of fuel, he could try going downhill.
    :notsure:

One of the stupidest things I've experienced was when the low fuel indicator light went out on my nightster. I'd usually monitor miles per tank and was expecting it to come on any minute. It never did, but then my bike started to hesitate on acceleration. Kaputz! It just died on me and there I am on the side of the road like an asshole. It wouldn't start up again, but would crank. Called a buddy with a truck to come get me. Asks: "Did you run out of gas?". "No, the light hasn't turned on yet, but I'm probably low." I was in denial because the bike was only about a year old at that point and figured there's not way the light would just stop working. Put fuel in the thing and it started right up.

They're called dummy lights for a reason.

It reduces the amount of fuel the tank can hold. Its minimal but still a factor. I think the bike could only do 80-85 miles to a tank originally
