I heard there’s a way to label one of your contacts “ICE” and have the phone be able to call that number even without the password, but I honestly haven’t looked into it. I’m sure it’s phone specific in the settings somewhere.

@GHOST SHIP i hate when people put the apes inline with the forks. I like them vertical.

Should i trim 1" off of the bar ends? I think thats the max that i can

I think you might be right about this. I'll have to look into it.

The problem with the phone is that if the wreck is bad enough, the phone will probably in the same shape that I'm in. For someone unresponsive or dead a name and a contact number is a good thing. I spent 15 years working as a LEO for a state agency and next of kin notifications were often delayed or a problem because drivers licenses, registrations etc. don't have enough details for notification.

Just need to clean up wiring. Ordered too long brake line. But rather have too much than too little

I always angle mine forward too but it’s because I have long arms. Also tuck them for lane splitting.
I had to put my stock bars back on today. Got everything torn down and it turns out the ID of the Roland Sands bars is smaller than stock so the throttle by wire tube wouldn’t fit. Pain in the ass. RS uses thicker wall tube than HD while still having 1” OD. My options in order of consideration are: 1. Ream out the 5 3/4” of the RS bars that I need for the throttle to fit. It needs to go from 11/16 to 13/16 so it’s not much but the problem is that I need to go deep enough that I don’t know where to get a reamer or drill bit that cuts that deep. Not to mention it has to be straight or I run the risk of weakening the tube integrity. 2. Cut off what I need from the stock bars (5 3/4”) and weld it in place on the RS bars. This is a bit easier because I can do it with what I have on hand. The problem is that in order to do it properly, I’d have have to slug and plug the weld which will make the ID even smaller and potentially cause interference with internal wiring. Or I could cut the whole tube off and replace with one with the right demensions. But then there’s the shit show of getting everything to be symmetrical. Not to mention I’d have to paint or PC them after the fact.
    Fuck this.
See any other options? I’d really like to keep these bars because I like how they look and feel. I already knew I’d have to modify a bit to fit the throttle by wire by notching the end for the retaining clips, but this is unexpected. Plus there’s the accomplishment of doing something that I was told couldn’t be done.

ream it. by far the easiest solution for how little your taking off. the tube itself should keep the drill bit centered. always get an extension for the drill but too

found out that the tank lift didnt reduce my miles per tank, it just increased the time for the low light to come on. So I ordered a spare fuel bottle/holder, and just going to ride until I run out. Will report back

Haha ok. I don't want to open anything up yet. I ordered the extra fuel bottle. Gonna try that route first.
