Oh I hear u loud and clear brother and definitely feel your frustration. Sadly, that's our reality :annoyed: If you can adopt the mentality that ppl rarely give a f*ck about anyone other themselves on the road (intentional or not), you'll probably be doing yourself a huge favor. I used to spend time thinking about or trying to understand the person behind the wheel. All that did was just get me more upset and took my focus away from the never ending dangers that still lie ahead.

Vent and let it out... just remember that nobody can take better care of yourself than you!

X2, plus getting a loud AF horn and exhaust helps.

Coolant flush! Though I'm not entirely sure it needed it. The coolant looked fine, bike has 9k miles, but not sure it's ever been changed (it's an 06). There was also nothing in the reservoir and the radiator looked like it was low.

Should be fine. Though I only used distilled water and Water Wetter, but I live in the desert so I don’t really have to worry about freezing.

I saw everyone recommending it, but not sure of the longevity and I don't think my bike will ever see a track (realistically.. there's no tracks around here). The stuff I put in is supposedly warrantied for 5 years/150k miles

Last week of May got a 2016 KTM 1190 adventure R, only 60 miles on it. Replaced a 2014 FZ09, wanted something bigger that I could do more exploring with. Now there are two things in the garage to buy parts for. Of course I went out of town for a week right after I got it, so I have only been able to put 200 miles on her so far.

    Nice bike, congrats man.
Hey, which Shoei helmet is that? I'm looking to get my first bike soon and wanna replace my shitty speed and strength helmet before I start riding a lot. I have been looking at the rf-1200.

It is a Shoei Qwest, but from several years ago now. Not top of the line like the RF-1200 but fits well. Probably should update the lid in the next year or so.

i have a bell moto9 that i race with, but its a goggles only helmet. Daily use i have a bell mx9 adv with transition lense, can also be used with goggles. im happy with the mx9 for daily, especially with the transition lense, dont have to carry around sunglasses.

If your doing more adventure riding look into the Mod Shoei Neotech love mine and don't have to take of the lid during breaks.
