    No. Long story.

But i took it from dead and having not run since december 2016, to nearly 100%

It had a dead battery and bad gas. Needed an oil change and full once over.

Currently the only issue is an Fi cut randomly every once in a while, likely a loose connection that i just can’t seem to find.

    Its a 2000 Honda VFR800 with 49600 miles

Just depends if you want better aerodynamics and a flip down internal sun shield or not. I heard Shoei is getting ready to dump the RF1200 soon.

The RF1200 is Snell certified, the GT Air is not if that makes any difference to you. Most track day providers require Snell. I love my GT Air. Air flow is good, its about as quite as you're going to get and I really like the drop down sun shield. It's not as good as my sun glasses but it's good enough for my commuting as I don't have to carry sunglasses. When the sun is low on the horizon, I drop the shield down partially and it adds another layer to my sunglasses.

with the rf1200 you can buy a transition lens as well. thats all i rock on my mx9adv helmet. works great and when lifted up reminds me how much it helps

Pretty pricey though. For that price you might as well get a Shoei, and have the added comfort and addtional certs.

idk why you quoted me, lol :notsure:

the rf1200 is a shoei and i was giving an example of how to fix the lack of internal visor/sunglasses.
snell wont approve internal visor helmets.

Nah, that’s a good buy, I always buy new older helmets for good deals like that.

I was saying putting an expensive trans lens on an mx9adv, you might as well get a Shoei.

to each their own. buying a shoei doesnt fix the having to carry around sunglasses or being blinded.

in fact i have a rf1100 with tinted lens that i doubt ill ever wear again. ill take airflow with an adv/mx style helmet and put ear plugs in.

Hopefully taking a look at this in a few days, if it’s still around. 2013. 5900 miles. Not tickled about the seat, it I can change that. Dealer is a family friend. I’d have to trailer it back home from a business trip.

Sorry was away camping since the 4th. I have not actually attached the OS-6 to my US-20 bag yet, but I don't see why they wouldn't be compatible. The OS-6 has the same hooks with an update cinching system, don't see any reason that the OS bag would not just hook right into the US 20 loop system. I will give it a try tonight though and let you know if I see any issues.
