What’s interesting is that Saddlemen makes those seats for LD! I don’t have any personal experience but researched them both pretty extensively for my sporty. The consensus seemed to be that the LD is more “grippy.” But, considering they’re made by the same company, they’re both great quality.

    Sunday, Wednesday or Thursday?

Seeing as how scotty supermoto’s was the last one i saw gently used for under $600, i think i’m going to talk with Lectron about their carb. I’m extremely curious and may end up with one

I rode mine home yesterday from my summer camp to put it away for winter.Just when my ass started to hurt i looked at my speedo/odometer 50miles is the spot where MY seat gets uncomfortable.
I have one for when my wife rides with me.A little more comfortable but i dont like the looks of it.
Most HD dealers have demo seats. You can borrow and ride for the day to feel if its right for you.

The new Softails come with gel seats which was one of their “selling points”. I really didn’t care, but I think the profile is wrong for my, uh... “seat”.

Anyone here know a reputable source for digital versions of HD service manuals?

Dealer wants $140 for a hard copy
Found a CD that had the info on eBay for $15. Problem is there’s no reviews and you won’t know what’s there until you receive th CD
Also found a source for an immediate download for $25:
    https://servicemanualwarehouse.com/...MI-u3D8uLA3gIVBsJkCh096Qh5EAQYASABEgJmDvD_BwE
    Unlocked searchable PDF version.

Who here has the Harley 48? If so, what year is it, and does it have the adjustable, progressive shocks? If so, can your tail tell the difference?

Its a 2018. From what I can remember about my 07 Nightster, the rear shocks on the 48 are better. Not sure by how much though

I've read the shocks were pretty rough until the '17 model when they added progressive shocks as a stock part. I'm looking at pre-15 bikes, so I'd probably just replace the stock shocks.
