I wasn’t going for loud, I just liked the esthetics of it. My other bikes aren’t the quietest either, but their exhausts were chosen for true performance upgrades. The Harley is just for looks because it’s just going to be a giant boat anchor no matter what you do to it. LOL

I swapped the exhaust on one of my sleds for a performance can once. It was a nice power boost, saved about 25lbs and sounded great when ripped up at full throttle in the mountains. After a few trail rides to get to the good riding I couldn’t take it anymore. My KLR 650 has a FMF on it that seems to be a pretty good compromise between performance and a better tone without being obscenely loud.

Put the bike away for the season. Had such a good time riding to the dealership I wanted to turn around once I got there :(

That thing is nice! It needs an air cleaner and a solo bag!

Depending on model year and mileage $5,500-$9,500 used. I think they're $12,000 new before dealer fees.

Who lives in a climate you can ride year round? This is my first “winter” where I can ride year round and just worry about rain.

I have a husky 701 and my last canyon ride was pretty slick due to wet/cold and debris covered roads. So I’m thinking of swapping out the stock conti attack tires?

I don’t want a true rain tire since I’ll be riding in dry (but semi cold ) weather. Still want it to hook up well for canyon runs. And of course commuting in the rain.

Avon distanzia was going to be my tire but then found out those are discontinued.

Any tire recommendations for a supermoto with those conditions?

We ride year around out here but I can't help you with the sumo tires, we mostly stick to the dirt or adv riding.

I had an 883 with short shots and added the "quiet baffles. To me they are a must have, they lowered the tone and took the harsh metallic sound away which was perfect. The only negative is eventually the fiberglass wrap blew out one of the pipes. Its easy to take the baffle out and wrap them again though.

Just get Dunlop Q3’s can’t go wrong with those. I’ve done canyon runs in pouring rain on them and they never slipped. Not a 100% sure they make them is sm sizes though. Also if the road has debris and dirt it’s going to be slippery no matter what tire you have.
