Christmas gift from the wife. Lol

 

Finally caught a dry day to take pics and ride back roads:

Triple Black, the only color option these should come in. I owned the same bike, and I can say from experience...that bike is built. Had a nasty encounter with the front end of a Tahoe being piloted by a new 17yr old driver. She crossed the median on a country HWY and slammed into my left pannier. Squashed it like a pancake and ejected me into the woods.
She hit me so hard it tore off the rear tire and swing arm, spit the driveshaft out, the subframe rear tail section was gone and the rest was history. I roads that sucker bucking wild into the ground until the force threw me into a ditch.
Glad I ride dirtbikes all the time, as it was one knarly dismount.
Got to love teen drivers :/

Agreed. As kinda like the GSA Ralley. Glad you’re ok, never a good thing meeting a cager like that

I went through a similar experience with a 17yo driver T-boned me, she came out of a driveway with out stopping.
Almost lost my right foot to gangrene!
And it's only gotten worse with all these idiots texting while driving. ...

I bring them back to life for fun. Orange one is a 1978 Honda 400 Hawk. Two tone blue is a 1981 Honda 650 Custom. Gray/Burgundy is a 1981 Suzuki GS850G. The two Honda'a are original paint. The Suzuki I got creative with.

 

Something classy about unmolested classic bikes. I dig it.

I have a hard time leaving things alone so I cut everything up.

The Harley lasted a total of two days in stock form after bringing it home. Currently considering a tank swap to a more favorable sportster style tank that allows for similar capacity.

The XS is getting a cafe/scrambler treatment, but is ok the back burner for now.

 

Do you have any CBX's? I love those

I haz no CBX.

 

No CBX here either. They are out there, but a nice original will be expensive. My buddy has a red one, but he will never part with it.
