I want your gas tank. I’ll trade you my tank and digital gauge for yours.

I really like the dash on tank like that (and the dynas). One of the things that I think kills the sillouhette on the street bob is the bare tank. I like the small digital gauge one the bar clamp but not at the expense of the better aesthetics of the profile.

I’m genuinely curious if the tank and gauges would just swap over plug and play.

Here is another Denali product I'm thinking of getting for the Bobber. I love my D2s, but they are just too big for the bobber, as it's about having less. The Denali DRL fender mount, which on the bobber is completely over the black fork and would not be very noticeable when off. I know it won't add much light for night driving, but I use it more for daytime rides and it should help with visibility.

Hope you like it as much as our youngest daughter likes hers. Motor will hold up (same motor that is on the 950 VStar). I have 42,000 miles on my 950 VStar and haven't done much more than regular oil changes. Enjoy

Good to hear I can’t wait to put some miles on it. I think I’m gonna do exhaust, air intake, and ECU flash from what I’ve read that really wakes it up.

Got my lowering kit on but not without a struggle....

Trust me when I say this, jack the back end up when you are doing this mod! It makes it much, much easier and faaaarrrrr less time consuming. Without being able to expand slowly as the back was lifted, my shocks decompressed so quickly that they came apart, and I had to go over to @fatfurious2 house and use a bring rotor to compress them enough to reassemble them.

It's also amazing how much of a difference lowering 1" makes when it comes to aesthetics and riding position. I feel much lower to the ground on the bike and the bars feel much higher, which I like.

I was able to get out and ride for 30 minutes last night. Virginia weather seems to want to cooperate for the next few days. Just need one more big rain storm to was away the salt and sand they use for snow.

Still need to get the tank lift on. Maybe this Friday night/weekend. I also have a sissy bar on the way and want to do a rear fender chop sometime soon.

Anyways, here's a picture. Excuse the mess in the garage.

Looking good man. What year is your bike again? Also if you could do me a favor and measure the width of the rear fender (inside the frame horns). I've been looking at CL searching for an early EFI sporty to tear into.

That's the second time you post that picture and it has me second guessing my bike choice. Looks awesome David.

Heads Up: Ebay has the 15% off deal again today. I'm looking at either a new helmet or the Denali light kit.
