    link?

Actually I (think I) found it:
    https://www.finditnowusa.com/

Any estimate on initial pricing? Nothing on the site other than directing you to a dealer. Looks like the yearly sub is about $70

Thanks for your reply. I just googled that. So you had it installed and they don’t even tell you where it is? How much did you pay up front? What kinda bike you got? Did you see a pic of mine? It’s so stripped down it’s really hard to hide anything on...

I had LoJack on a previous vehicle and it’s the same policy. THe tech showed me the unit prior to install and it was a little bigger than a pack of cigarettes. That was about 15 years ago though. GPS technology has evolved a lot in that time and I’m sure the units are even smaller now.

I understand but on a bike like mine the policy is pointless. Wish I could just buy and install myself. I’ll find the unit in seconds anyway but perhaps a thief won’t. I reached out to FIN to see how much they charge for their unit and to get it installed.

Doesn't the wrap around part do something for the torque?

I think the length does. Might be able to regain some of that with some fancy twists though?

be interesting to see the power difference on the bottom end but seems like the engine would run a bit cooler without the exhaust wrapped around it

Ill do some very scientific string measurements and see what i can come up with. Obviously have room to wrap the header around both sides of the motor and back if necessary. Not saying im going to do anything though

Plug it. Ive done it. Even tracked a tire with a plug. No sense in wasting a good tire imo. If its almost ready to be changed then go that route

Stock tires on my ‘18 fat bob are pretty terrible. I’ve already ordered a set of Avon cobra’s for the bike.

In my opinion a plug should be a temporary fix only on a street motorcycle. I'm sure they hold fine but you only have two tires and it's not worth the risk of it letting go while you're cruising down the highway. But that's me, I tend to err on the side of caution.

That's it! Pricing: I bought it from a dealer when I bought my Honda CBR1000RR. I want to say it was like $700'ish? Like I said, kind of pricey but after that first initial hit, the yearly subscription price is much cheaper.

Yeah they wouldn't let me install it myself or tell me where it was. I ended up changing the fairings on my CBR1000RR and found it under the gas tank, and it was wired directly to the battery. So I could have just followed those wires if I was curious.

I've since sold the CBR1000RR. I took the FIN GPS off and swapped it over onto to my previous '17 Harley Low Rider S. Sold that bike and have swapped it onto my '19 Harley FXDR (pic below.) Works just fine, just like it did on the CBR! Cool thing also, it notifies you when it's been disconnected from the battery.

Even w/ your bike stripped down, it's a very small unit, fits in the palm of the hand, and is easily routed, mounted, and hidden.

Let us know how the Cobras are! I've heard good things, been thinking about getting a set.

Holy crap Blockhead is here, and quoted my post? I feel so special. Tires are sitting in the garage right now and the bike goes in this Saturday. I’ll give updates once I get some miles on them. So far I’ve only heard good things about them. I might even go so far as to plug the tire just for a burnout video, but I’m guessing that won’t last long on this forum.
