Yeah it's tough to say since they're still pretty new. Would be so much fun though lol.

Edit: but also what @Sacrifice said. It's a Honda, it'll probably last a while.

A couple friends and I talked about getting a few 50's to shred around town  I could practically throw one in my hatchback. Groms are hilarious though. Would be so much fun for just the hoonage factor alone.

This video made me want one lol towards the end he just holds the brake and just rips a big old long burnout.

I have faith in Honda's ability to make great air cooled thumpers. But if you wanted to use it somewhere where you'd be over 45 regularly, I'd be a little scared since redlining an engine constantly isn't a good thing haha.

I was wanting a 48 too honestly. I was reading that you can put on the nightster tank for better range

I love that classic bobber-esque style they have. I think with some low cut Z bars or drag bars and some little modifications here and there it'd make a really fun/good looking bike.

I'd just avoid the interstate on it. Take side roads and hoon to my destination.

yea, zrx1100. He just keeps buying the parts that his forum people make. That bike has been a forever project for him.

The lift uses the swingarm pivot bolts, as the point of lift. I got some adapters for my FZ too, but I dont have anything to install yet

I like the 48, but have an FZ09. I think we have the same kind of thinking. Id get another Harley.. either 48 or iron 883 (just for fun, because they arent that fast), or some sort of sumo. I was thinking about a Grom... 2015, 300 miles, yellow, $2700. But I think I would throw some $ at it, and get bored in a few months.

Thats why I was thinking about a sumo, but Im just going to enjoy my FZ for now.

I like the FZ cause it seems like it'd be a good do-all type of bike. Of course not as hoonable as a sumo, probably not as cruiser oriented as a 48. But I think it'd be a very good compromise between both styles. They sound pretty beefy too which I really like.

I just don't think there's enough 'close quarters' style riding in this area for a sumo. Cops are very bored and unforgiving here so I might get myself in trouble with a sumo lol.
