the 450 swap doesnt look too bad. I think they even used the stock tank. Just get any working motorcycle, and swap the motor just for fun :notsure:

I do have an early 80s ATC that I've been wanting to tinker with. Wonder what it would take to fit in the frame.

It's the one I had as a kid. My dad being the original owner I wanted to restore it but finding parts might be expensive. Figured I can throw a generic Honda motor in it and hoon out on it until I roll it.

what's your favorite oil filter? I was originally using Suzuki factory filters, but found out that now they are made similarly to Fram OCOD, so I am now trying a Hiflofiltro Racing filter.

I use those hiflo ones as well, usually because I order a bunch for $6-7 bucks when ordering other parts from partszilla or sportbiketrackgear. On the Harley I am about to switch to one of the metal reusable filters because the filter also acts as a heat sink - Harley's dinosaur ass technology needs all the help it can get.

I usually get oem as well. Tried the stainless mesh from tusk and didnt have any issues but i got tired of cleaning it since i only had one.

I usually go OEM, or K&N I like that they have the nut on the end.

K&N used to be good, I wouldn't use them now. They fail so often they are not allowed at most local tracks anymore because after a failure it takes forever to clean the track. They usually fail at the nut weld. OEM is ok but its not like Honda or Toyota are making the damn filter anyway - its subbed out

Thanks man, it was a great time!

I decided to drop some coin on shocks for my Dyna. Need to get it dialed before this summer.
