Check your state laws for non-responsive signals. In WA if it doesn't change for me through 1 normal cycle I can run it legally.

    RCW 46.61.184
"Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the operator of a bicycle, moped, or street legal motorcycle approaching an intersection, including a left turn intersection, that is controlled by a triggered traffic control signal using a vehicle detection device that is inoperative due to the size or composition of the bicycle, moped, or street legal motorcycle shall come to a full and complete stop at the intersection. If the traffic control signal, including the left turn signal, as appropriate, fails to operate after one cycle of the traffic signal, the operator may, after exercising due care, proceed directly through the intersection or proceed to turn left, as appropriate"

    EDIT:

Looked it up, looks like TX doesn't allow for it.

"No, there are no provisions in Texas law that will allow any non-emergency vehicle to bypass a red light. You will need to turn or change lanes legally when safe then find another route. As stated in Texas Transportation Code (TRC) 544.0075 certain traffic-actuated electric traffic-control signals are required to be capable of registering the presence of a motorcycle."

    https://www.dps.texas.gov/msb/msbfaqs.htm

Sometimes I've found that if I back up and try rolling over where the sensor is again it can help trigger it.

This is from 2018, I'm guessing it's fairly accurate still. Sorry CA.

Run the light. Not enough metal on the bikes to pick up on the light sensor

I just turn if it's clear and the light hasn't changed for a cycle. Most police will understand if they pull you over for running the light and you explain the circumstances.

Not promising of getting my bike next week now. UPS tracking shows the paperwork not getting to me until Monday. Which means I can’t send it back until Tuesday. Idk if they included 2nd day air return or not. But that would put it there on Thursday and then they’d notify the shipping people and they probably won’t deliver over the weekend. Dammit.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Anyone have experience with either the VH twin slash or eliminator mufflers? Or the cobra neighbor hater muffled? Both are about $350. Thinking about ordering one of them with the bike instead of going full pipes right off the bat
