Had a grom with the idea itd be a fun little camping bike. But unless everyone has one itd just sit or youd want to relax after all day. It was entertaining around town too but i always preferred my supermoto to ride.

agreed. And switching from Z125 to my FZ09 at the time, was insane. On the Z, it was full throttle every gear, if I tried the same without a break on the FZ, then Id die

Now I am leaning more towards that Husqvarna 401. Would still be a good starter bike for my wife.

it looks really cool. And looks like a fun little bike. For me there were 2 points in getting a grom/kawi - price point and parts availability. It was an impulse buy for me. It was $3500 out the door. 0 down, $60/month payment, and $75/year for insurance. I dont even know where a Husky dealer is near me. There are several japanese dealers, a few Ducati dealers, and I think a KTM is about 2-3 hours away. If you wanted something exotic like a Bimota, then I dont even know where you would have to go.. but thats just my opinion.

And here is a Bimota for attention

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

@GHOST SHIP what fairing are you rocking? I think getting a fairing + windshield is on the top of my list of mods to do first

I have the knock off sportser fairing in the “products discussed” section below. It wasn’t a direct fit and I had to make my own brackets but I saved a bunch of cash by making stuff myself.
HD just came out with one specific to the Street Bob that has an updated shape as opposed the the classic clamshell. Might be worth looking into but I don’t know what it costs.

I noticed a huge difference in wind on my chest by adding the fairing BTW.
