heck you might hate the thing and want to trade it in sooner than later for something else

I say first just get the bike and ride the bike and at least get the first oil change out of the way before changing any parts

Me too. I don't have cable, internet, netflix, Amazon... or anything that requires monthly payment (except for my new to me truck and for mortgage). All funds go to Rob's Used Harley Parts (right, @fatfurious2 ?), gas and guns.

I need to get to work on the bike. Higher bars, forward controls and new back fender are at the top of the list. Bought a flared OEM fender off of some 2000 Sportster variation (can't remember which one) that doesn't require any additional cutting or fabrication but now I need to work out brake and turn lights. I wanted to do a hardtail for awhile but I have kinda abandoned that idea for the time being.

 I was looking for bike parts on the "motorcycle parts" section of craigslist and saw an ad for used bike parts. I clicked on it, and the sign said Rob's Used Harley Parts. Since @LocoLocal bike is consisted of used parts from ebay, I thought it was fitting to name his "build".

I keep asking you to ride, but youre always busy :boink:

My schedule has opened up a bit just as the weather has been reminded that it's February in the Mid-Atlantic. Looks like the weather won't meet your standards for another two weeks!

Sunday afternoon I’m hoping to go ride, forecast to be above 50° from 11-5. Just installed a set of bar risers to move them up and back 1” and am expecting a resonator delete pipe tomorrow to get rid of the big ugly box under the swing arm. Should make the bike sound better too.

If I hate it I won’t be getting another bike period lol. I’m not changing anything immediately. It’ll be a month or two of riding first. But a seat and fairing are high on my list

What about cell phone service? Or are you doing it the old school of using a digital camera and library Internet? lol

I do have a cell phone! Luckily my work pays for it. I do surf the web on my phone at home but anything else is done on my PC at work - outside of work hours of course. :)

that is the opposite for me. Work has been paying me to surf the web - aka lots of downtime at my job :anonymous:. I like it, and I get the bills paid, so it will do for now.

I have no interest in a sport bike. I guess I would maybe consider an enduro. But I don’t typically buy expensive things unless I know I’m going to like it.

I don’t win things ever. My ex did. All the fucking time.

    >In Reno visiting her friends
    >in casino. She goes “I’m feeling lucky”
    >wins $20 on her first slot machine pull

this shit happened all the time.
