    Jealous!

Got my front blinkers on the grom, and was looking at the sprocket/chain only to realize the front sprocket is a 13 tooth (stock is 15). Not sure how much putting a 15 back on will kill the fun

Idk the grom is pretty gutless, lol.

I still have $0.99 :D my rotors and pads are all in good shape and work fine for now.

Took the bike to some trails this afternoon and pounded the everliving piss out of it. Cracked 7400 miles. Now i'm going to just take it easy to 7500 and check my valves

Picked up some brake fluid so I can finally swap in the steel brake lines I bought months ago.

Also may have to get new brake pads. Used a little spray lube to help install my spoke skins and I forgot to clean off the rotors before I re-installed everything and used the brakes...

Didn't have time to ride at all this weekend. Combination of being busy and then feeling slightly sick today.

It's finally getting up to and staying in the 70's here, but it's also accompanied with quite a bit of rain :(

New chain and sprockets installed on the grom. Can't really tell a difference in torque, ha. IMG_20160411_195443291.jpg

I got a tattoo on my calf sunday without thinking about the trip. The boots are tall enough that they will rub a lot

My new ride! 2010 690 Duke... By far the most fun bike I have ever owned or ridden. I think my taco is depressed now because I noticed it sagging in the rear even more than normal today.

I don't have a dyno pull yet but intend to once I am finished tuning it to me. She is still plain stock, original owner did no mods at all so should make things easy. For specs I think it's (off memory atm) 64 hp at 7500 rpm and 50 torque at 5500 rpm. Single cyclinder. Dry weight of 330 lbs. My model does not have the abs system but I prefer it that way on my bikes... Never had abs on my dirt bikes why start now lol just one less thing to maintenance/have potentially fail.

I had the chance to buy a 990 superduke and that bike was sexy too but didn't give me that same feel the 690 does when tracking the bike. I'm only 5' 10'' and 170 lbs so for height and weight it's perfect match.

Best part is that even the harley guys hop off their bikes to come check out ktm's when they roll in.

Lastly to anyone who has owned a duke before, any tips or advice/warnings?

Watch for wear in the rocker arm bearings; they released revised rocker arms w/different bearings a few years after your bike. At least it was that way on the 690 Enduro which is essentially the same engine.
