I like that. Spoked looks really good too.

I have mags right now but they’re old and dirty as shit. But the local used parts place I posted those wheels from will give me $50 for each wheel.

Just got the rear wheel installed with the new tire. I also set the alignment and got the chain slack within spec.

So all this talk about GP's and all....are y'all using this as a "dash cam" setup?? I'm back and forth with this. I wouldn't mind a dash cam type setup, but don't wanna spend a shit ton. Not doing any vlogging or anything.

Did you do burnouts with the old tire? If you didn’t, don’t worry I forgot to as well. :annoyed:

You could paint the mags. I had real good luck with the diplicolor wheel paint.

I didn’t do any burnouts, but I did think about it. I didn’t really want to risk anything bad happening.

Besides, I do plenty of burnouts in my Mustang. :D

I just want to capture the cool scenery I come across without having to stop. For instance on Saturday’s ride we were up in the palisades and you look over the cliff and just see a bunch of clouds beneath you. Or coming down the hills and looking in to the harbor. Really cool shots I would have loved to stop and take pictures of

    Agreed!

That’s where my recent post about stopping came about. I wanted to show the wife the scenery!

I swear you see things on 2 wheels you don’t see in a car! :notsure:

My ride today took me close to the Poppy preserve in CA (Lancaster). It probably wouldn’t have shown up on camera but it was cool to see some orange blur in the horizon. I might take a ride out there later this week to see it in full bloom.

Damn! That is a great idea. It would be cheaper, too. I’m all about cheaper…

I just use mine for trail riding or racing. On the daily seemed boring to me

I bring mine along every now and then, most of the footage is pretty boring.

I'll say this for solid wheels - they absolutely suck when you get hit by a crosswind. That was one of the biggest complaints I used to hear about the FatBoy.
