drz is definitely not what we are looking for, itd be tiring for me and her. inevitably ill pick it up sometimes. e-start is a priority again just to make it easier.

the TTRs seem pretty common around here in the marketplace but if i sell my 450f i could just go buy a new 2020 as well.

I would love to get the wife a KX100 but she would never ride it like it’s meant to be ridden (fast). Plus she needs push button start. I am usually on the Honda/ Yamaha train but it seems like Kawasaki wins in this category with the 140L.

Have you considered a 125 two stroke? Lightweight and plenty of power for a solid woods bike.

Edit: I should specify, they are ideal for a smaller rider. Obviously not something you or I would ride in the woods.

Man this is great! I was coming down the mountain last weekend and I was stuck behind a guy on a red Ducati 998. He hardly leaned through each turn and took them at about 25mph each. There was a line of folks behind him so long I couldn't count 'em. When a passing lane finally opened up and we all move over to freight train past him, he waited until the last second, chopped off the leading car, and kept us all stuck behind him again. I was livid. He finally pulled off in a lot full of other riders and a few cars pulled in behind him, I hope they were giving him a piece of their mind.

Great timing for me to stumble on this thread. I'm looking for small trail only bike as well. Just carved some trails with water crossings on my property with my bud who's a sponsored XC guy, rides a yamaha YZ250FX, with his skills he did a great job tearing it up, but it's really too big a bike in the tight confines of these woods for mere mortals. Our other bud brought a CR125 and a CRF100, after we'd done all the work, and man what blast. So now I need a little runner to shed the day when i get home at night. That 140G looks about right. Might outta add it to the shopping list.

words that shouldn't ever be typed

But boy did he look good leaning against it in the parking lot!

Nothing wrong with being a noob...but ya gotta let the burners burn. And to roll like that on a bike that SCREAMS "watch me", I'd have been hollering in my helmet, too.
