need more bike hooning to save for truck parts. Im waiting for this damn rain to end, so I can ride. I am also saving for wheels/tires, but Ill be using the roommates rent for that..

Bike paid off, got the title. So makes for extra $250 per month.. (thats my thinking anyways)

I'm either going to pay mind off and buy supermoto wheels for it or another bike or beater car

lol @ the dudes on the gixxer forum. What a bunch of ass hats. Told them to delete my account after being smartasses and telling me I "have" to pay $15 to use their forums, when it has a ton of ads and makes my antivirus go nuts.

    He goes:

"We have rules here for a reason. We are the largest single-brand motorcycle forum on the web. These rules work for us. I am willing to be you have gained more than $15 worth of knowledge in your short time here, so becomig a site supporter is about more than accessing the classifieds. Now, I could just go in and block your PM access, but I am hoping you realize that $15 is minimal compared to what you will learn here, and that I won't have to do that.

If these rules don't work for you, no one is keeping you here.

    Got it? "

Mind you, this guy has 70,000+ posts. I bet those $15 payments from poor suckers is how he makes his living.

He was gonna block my PM access because I said I wouldn't pay it to access the classifieds and would just PM the dude selling the parts instead (which btw is a lame piece of metal with holes drilled in it to relocate the rectifier that I decided I can make myself), after first saying "no, don't buy there, buy HERE, but first pay us $15". Dude lost a sale because of that guy.

I'd be surprised if a gixxerbro said anything OTHER than that tbh.

I say it's fair for them to ask, running a large forum is neither free nor cheap, but it's also fair for you to tell him to go fuck himself.

Really, though, what would you expect other than asshattery from a bunch of guys who ride Gixxers?

I basically did, and told him to delete my account (probably won't but I changed my password and email so I don't really care). The place is riddled with 10 times more ads that this forum. But this forum is free.... hmmm....
Also, my Symantec kept notifying me that it was blocking malicious attacks. Guess they're not using that money for forum upkeep.
I should have known a forum called "gixxer" and not "gsx-r" wasn't going to be filled with the most intelligent bunch.

I was going to make a comment about the forum being a spillover of Xbox live GTA lobbies and youtube commenters, but decided to just walk away from that weird, flaming, bro-fest.

Probably the same cohort that drives trucks that have "ghost trailers".

Now I have to tell people, "but I'm not like them!".

    Ugh.

Single reason why I'll never buy a Gixxer, even if for some reason they were proven to be the best bike in history...I'm fairly sure 99.9% of their riders are tools

Gsxr get a bad name but I've had my fair share of idiots on all types of bikes. Plenty of tools in the KC area with sport bikes.
