I have a honda xr200r and its an awesome bike. Its light and farily small and has enough power to play around on. And the power delivery isn't intimidating.

Finally! looks good. I need to get some for my fronts.. Ive still got the stock pumpkins. Were they plug and play? Yamaha has running lights/3 wires. I guess I could get an adapter.

i believe they would work for you. They are three wire and i only needed the two wires, so i just taped it all up with electrical tape

I seriously think they would work for your application, i'd email them about it.

I'm considering picking up another set of them to use on my rear signals because they're so much more painless to use than trimming and crimping every time.

Ordered! $44 shipped, including a LED flasher relay. Too bad I didnt order sooner, so I could install them before my trip to Tail of the Dragon. Leaving Thursday.

This, lots of this. I've seen tools on every style of bike. GSX-R aren't bad bikes, they get a lot of negative flak because of the douche-bro squids you see on them more than the other brands. It all comes down to your riding style and taste as to whether you like a certain brand or bike better than others. I used to think GSX-R's were a shit bike until I actually got a chance to be around them and see how they handled and performed. I'm becoming more open minded and wise as my age progresses. :annoyed:

I need to come where you are because I do want one of those between these legs. They are rare here so the price is not so cheap when one does pop up for sale. :frusty:

Came really close to running out of gas and being stranded on my way to work this morning. Went for a ride last night up to Augusta and had to switch to reserve on the way up there. No gas stations open by the time I left to come home, and I was riding back roads anyway, so I figured I'd just stop and tank up this morning. This morning the animal-related chores took longer than they normally do, so the bike was idling in the driveway for about 20 minutes before I left. On my way in to work I was about 1/4 mile from the gas station and it started to sputter, and then I only had 1/2 throttle, then 1/4, then just a notch, and then nothing and it stalled. So I clutched in and coasted into the gas station and up to the pump. Tank is supposed to hold 4.8 gallons and it took 5.1, lol.

In all the years I've been riding that bike I've never run it dry before, but I sure as hell did this morning. :anonymous:

Yep. If I'd been smart I would have gone out of my way to find an open gas station last night on my way home, but I figured that with a gallon reserve I'd have enough that it wouldn't matter. Hadn't planned on that 20 minute warm-up this morning, lol.

I don't let my bikes warm up. Start them when I'm putting on my helmet and once I'm ready I go.

    That's nice.
Ninja 250's are cold-blooded in general, and when it's below 40 degrees out (like it was this morning) if I don't let it warm up into the operating range before I go it doesn't run correctly and the throttle response sucks. :notsure:

When I had my Suzuki it was injected and I'd do what you do. Start it, put my gear on, and go, regardless of what ambient temps were.

Like I said, Ninja 250's are cold-blooded in general. I spent a couple of seasons messing with settings on the carb and never fixed it, so now I just live with it. It's only when I first start it in the morning, so it's really not that inconvenient. Besides, between the '69 and the '84 I'm used to having to let my ride warm up in the morning, haha!

Meh. Coldest I've ridden in was 20 degrees. Got to be careful because the tires harden up and your face can get frostbite, even inside the helmet. Other than that it's not bad if you dress for it.

Mine doesn't act right below 45-50ish degrees.

    55-65, it really shines.
