Still seems really steep to me, especially for a 10 year old bike. I mean, around here most people ride from March/April-October/November. An extra couple of months shouldn't make that sort of difference. :notsure:

Mine was $1300/year for collision with progressive. I had 2 speeding tickets. Recently took off collision, and now its $25/month until the rest of the year. I may add it back after the speeding tickets disappear. They were 3 years ago, on a different bike

I'm paying a little over $500 full coverage on a cbr600rr with no tickets with state farm, and was complaining about that.

Yeah, I remember bitching about my insurance prices when I was riding the 636 too. Apparently they were very reasonable, lol.

I pay $7/month for comprehensive (w/250$ deductible) and liability and a few thousand in medical payments on my 525.

The Ninjette runs me $92 a year for comp/collision w/$250 deductibles. Includes $3k in gear and accessories and I think $5k in medical coverage.
So about the same. Lots easier on the wallet than any of my true sportbikes ever were. And I actually have more fun on the Ninjette.

Edit- Definitely not 'be a blur when you pass that car' kind of fun, but I can run it through the gears without going to prison. And in the twisties I don't have any problem keeping up with the bigger bikes because it's so flickable.

But you can't do 140 down the pothole infested interstate, so you lose.

Changed the oil and filter in the GSXR yesterday. I figure with a 10 year old bike with 2800 miles it probably needed it. Good lord did the old oil smell like GAS. Gonna have to check it again and maybe do another change soon. Not sure if that's normal or not.

Brake stuff in the way on other side. They would have to farther out then I want. I mostly wanted it so others would see me coming more then lighting the road for me.
