Disable your wireless security, Connect to your network, look at your routers DHCP table and you've got it.

Next issue. Has anyone had any trouble mounting their SD card when connecting to their computer via USB? The phone mounts for a few seconds, the pc recognizes it, then it shuts it back off.

after you plug it in you need to mount it . You have to click on the notification bar at the top and select USB COnnected. then click mount!

I do that. Once I click mount, the PC(vista) the computer recognizes it but won't read that it was mounted. Pretty much the Drive won't stay mounted.

I figured as much. I'll have to mess with a few things once I get home. This phone is badass.

Sportstap,Weather channel, yellowbook, flixster,us traffic 66, slacker radio, mabilo, fmylife, advanced task killer, backgrounds, bartender, battery snap, flashlight, oi file manager, stocks.. Had a few others but deleted them after not needing them. Like photoshop, coupons.. I haven't paid for anything yet.

I downloaded an alarm clock sound on Mabilo. Can't seem to get the sound to show up in the list for alarm sounds. Won't let me copy the file into the systems folder either. Not big on games. Facebook and texting is what gets me through the day.

back when i had VZ all updates were always free (fyi i'm back to VZ :()

i like iphones. i'm not crazy about them and there service is overpriced but i looked into them when it was time to replace my BB. i've never liked the idea of a touch screen only phone but i do like them, just wasn't sold. then the droid came out and it fit my needs better. For people who just straight up want an "iphone", this phone would not make them happy, they wont be happy till they get an iphone. but for people like me who kinda like the iphone but wanted more options, this phone is perfect. i dont think it will cut into iphone sales, unless you count guys like me who would have taken an iphone but didn't have my heart set on it.

VZ by far has the biggest most reliable network. i hate them, but they are the best. i've been trying to avoid them like the plague but i get a 22% discount through work so they are by far cheaper than any other plan for me at the moment

yeah, i'm kinda bummed it didn't come with a detailed manual. i know i can get one online but there are lots of stuff that would have been nice to have knowledge about straight out of the box

i got some gps program that gives you a bunch of info and photoshop and a bunch of random games and "where" "google sky" "flashlight" "weatherbug" "chess", better alarm clock and a unit converter. so far i haven't paid for anything either. there are a ton of free apps out there

thats actually my only complaint. the touch function of the screen seems to be as good (accurate and sensitive) as the iphone, but it could use more funtionality. the little finger motions and stuff that work on the iphone and the macbook track pad are nice. but other than that i prefer it to the iphone.

I looked through the flashlight apps and they all just turn the screen on bright with white light. I'm waiting for a droid specific one that turns on the camera flash LED.

Multi touch works on the European GSM Version. Apparently its in there. So theres some political/legal reason its not in there. But, im sure that will change very quickly because you know that crazy thing called open dev...

Got one yesterday. Like having a PC in my pocket. I really don't need this much phone. But it's a fun toy. Don't really see much difference between a droid,i-phone, or bb. The layout and graphic appearance if different. Apple and bb are great prouducts. For me it's just personal choice. We'll see in a couple of months if it's still working.
Personally, I am not tech savy, or pc literate. Just wanted to know why Panda was down on it, when all reviews were excellent. ATT will improve network eventually for those having problems. Nothing wrong with brand loyalty.
Only complaint I have is it would have been nice if they downloaded manual into phone prior to purchase. Looked it up online. It is 56 pages.
