I just picked this up Sunday.. love it. Though, it's not really that new for me as I've been rock'n a G1 since launch lol. However, Verizon is way better than T-Mobile out here, that's for damn sure.

there must be areas where tmobile works, but they suck in SC. i have never even met someone that had t mobile. around here people only have VZ, ATT, or Sprint, mostly VZ and ATT though. never even met anyone with a carrier other than those

ya same here all verizon and att and for the most part with a select few with sprint. My sister had t-mobile for awhile and it was god awful for service anywhere in virginia besides the virginia beach area

Right now its limited.. Mostly being able to run Root required apps. Like screen capture. But, the big benefit will come when cooked roms start showing up. Maybe some ports from the milestone with the built in multitouch support.

not sure what cooked roms are

multi touch is awesome, but i really only care about it in terms of the keyboard. i use the dolphin browser, which supports multi touch. so the hardware supports it but none of hte native apps utilize it. but the keyboard thing is annoying as hell since you have to have one finger completely off the board before you hit another key. that needs to get fixed asap

Anyone have their firmware upgrade pushed to them this morning? I woke up with a message asking me to upgrade to 2.0.1 . So far so good, changed the unlock screen a little, haven't looked for much else.

You're now able to screen capture? I was able to screen capture and I'm not rooted? LoL

What theme are you using? And why does your Beautiful Home widget look different than mine? I don't think I can turn mine blue....

and yes Jigzor, I got the OTA update last night at about 12AM. My browsing speed went downhill alot with it for some reason.

And I am not rooted... I just took that pic :)

oh and btw my fellow Droiders... Multi-touch works if you have the Dolphin browser (aka pinch zoom). Not sure that Eris can do it though.

yeah I use Dolphin. very nice. Mine isnt beautiful widgets. Mine is Weather widgets donate. You must be using the SDK method with a computer. But, with a rooted droid you can do it right on the phone without a computer and SDK. Notice my notification bar doesnt have the usb symbol or the /!\ Symbol.

Yup, I realize that... Weather Widgets huh... never saw that one. Yes I'm using SDK "Dalvik's Debug" What home program and theme is that you're using though? I kinda like the subtle gradient to the bottom.

Weather widgets is nice. Completely skinable including the clock. The home screen im using is GDE. The subtle gradient at the bottom is from the skin im using for it. The skin is called obsidian.

Cool cool, alright that theme wont work with my home app, no biggy. Have you found a decent way to enable uploads in the browsers? The only browser that I found could do it is Opera and its not very good on droid.
