So for anyone interested in buying sliders, below are pics of my recently installed sliders from Mobtown. These things are stout and look good too.

The kick out is convenient and acts like a step to reach into the bed. The added weight from the sliders seemed to have stabilized the axle wrap I was getting after I removed the load leaf when I installed an add-a-leaf (AAL).

All-around, I am very happy with them.

I shopped around before getting mine they all seem to be pretty much in the same price range, and these things look to be a beast.

I love the kickout to use as a step on the Long beds.

The cost isn't too bad when considering the quality of build.

Picked mine up from their hq in md a few months back. Great sliders. Did you end up having to drill the frame at all? Holes didn't align up on both sides on mine. Carefully drilled a bit on the frame to get enough space to fit the bolt through. Had waited way to long to send them back over that.

I'm a dumbass. I just realized that I spelled Mobtown wrong. Not sure if it was autocorrect or an oversight on my part.

Looks awesome man. They do appear to be one of the better engineered bolt on option for our trucks. I almost went with Mobtown Sliders, but ended up going a different route.

Wouldn't the additional weight of the sliders have the opposite effect on the axle wrap issue? Generally speaking, more weight = more stress on the drive line components.

Good question. I'm not exactly sure.

I have noticed that since I removed the load leaf the rear end tends to have a lot of bounce while braking and in stop and go. With the added weight from the sliders it feels less.

Thanks. We spent a lot (I mean a helluva lot) of time on the engineering side of our sliders. Between design, computer simulations and prototypes @Mobtown Offroad and I spent months developing our sliders. That's a long time for a relatively simple product, but it gives you an idea of how much thought we put into them. It was easy to make sliders that bolted on, but we wanted to make the best, toughest ones out there.

It's cool that you guys respond here, but don't respond to my PMs.

You sent me a damaged tail gate cap (because of poor packaging)

I politely asked how I can return and exchange the cap.

You guys said that you'll send me a replacement, and then nothing... No tracking numbers, no PM response, nothing.

I will never order anything from you guys again (I have the tail gate skin as well)

    Buyer beware.
