    I like my Tekonsha P3 brake controller. (I also like the instant no-questions-asked replacement service I got when it woke up with a blank screen one day!) But I was never really happy with the way I had it mounted, hanging on the Tekonsha-provided quick-release bracket from a tray door at the driver's left knee. I hit my knee every time I got in or out.

    I drew up a replacement panel for the little tray door that raises and recesses the controller, keeping it out of the way and giving it a much nicer integrated look. Then i printed it out on my 3D printer.
