Hey guys, I'm pulling this conversation out of the NEBS thread for a little more focus. Lets get together for a ride or at least have a beer together, while we're all up at NEMBAfest.

@Boston10Taco @rossco531 @micwillia tag away if you know anyone else who's going to be there.

hmmmm ... this one might be tough... I think its the same weekend planned for the waterfall tour. Decisions Decisions Decisions...

    Anyone know when registration closes?

Is it a free for all camp style (ie pick your own spots) or assigned spots? You could probably coordinate a TW camp area.

It is the same weekend as the waterfall tour. http://kingdomtrails.org/calendar/nembafest-annual/ or http://nembafest.com

It's a free-for-all. I'll be there with my girlfriend and several other friends from off TW, camping in the main RV parking. I'm going to try and secure space for a few rigs next to us as we're all arriving at different times, but it's essentially first come, first served.

I tent camped at the family camp area, at the inn, last year. I will most likely be up there with my local bike shop again this year, but would definitely like to meet up at some point.

Ya the quiet area last year was great no wait for showers and a hot tube though it was like $10 extra not bad though

I've got more for tent camping than truck camping, so I'll probably be in the main camping area. I was along the road down to the expo last year and it was a great spot. At least there's a bar only a bike away

Not sure how interested everyone is but my friend and I might try to find an abandoned radar base on vt the same weekend. I'm not sure how far from the event it is though.

    Bump

Whose still planning on going? Didn't register but still thinking of going.

Couple of quick Q's for those that have been there-

I assume tent camping in the RV camping area is frowned upon? Likely sleeping in the back of the truck but just curious.
Do they allow fire pits? got one of those metal backyard fire pits that we use when we camp at the race track, but no reason to bring it if I can use it...
@BadDNA what time do you think your arriving? Would be cool to post up with some other TW members.

Tenting in the RV area is allowed, we had a friend tent up next to our camper last year. No fire pits, there will be a communal fire but no individual fires are allowed.

We're heading up Thursday after work, if you come looking, my truck will be in the RV area. If the bikes are in the back and I'm not there, I'm probably wandering around the expo or off on a demo ride.

Well we were just talking about it and we are now thinking about going up early Friday. We were just going to crash the campground early and not pay attention to the 8am Friday official opening.

We'll probably be there around 10 on Friday.

I might be going up Friday night. I know some guys who rented a house. Phone doesn't work up there tho, so it will be hard to plan a meet up.
