what shoes are you guys wearing?

i have been a little stingy with the funds over the past few years on MTB shoes.
if they worked ok, i kept them for a long time.

i had a pair of Shimano m181 (i think) that i have worn for years. they are finally falling apart.

    ordered these from PricePoint.com

    Shimano M240L

    http://www.pricepoint.com/popups/popZoom.htm?page=popZoom.htm&zoomimg=Z_285%20SHI240.jpg&altText=Shimano%20SH-M240L%20Mountain%20Shoe%20at%20PricePoint.com&title=Current%20Zoom%20Image

hoping they last me a while.

was going to go with Sidi, but kept reading reviews of the quality not being what it used to, so stuck with Shimano

I rock 2 pairs of specialized shoes for mountain bike and road too. I have found they fit me very well because they are slighlty more narrow.

For my piece, an all around good shoe. Fast break-in, very stiff sole, and breathable. Had some trouble with the plastic surrounding the ratchet strap catching on crank arms. My local shop replaced with no questions the first time. When I was on a road trip it happened again and I just yanked the piece off, all better.

I bought some Diadora x-trail with carbon fiber soles a couple months ago. They were on sale from nashbar for like 60 bucks. They have been good shoes. I also have a pair of specialized shoes that are a bit more flexible for the rides that require a bit of hiking.

I have had a pair of Addidas mountain bike shoes that have lasted me the last 7 years. Got them on either www.nashbar.com or www.performancebike.com. cant remember which...use them both a lot.
