    You’ll have to find a paint material that can stick. Why not just exchange it via mail? Cost for shipping my be slightly higher than the cost of the paint?

    I see a red hatch and I want it painted black...

    Sorry, I don't have a good answer to your question but now I need to listen to a song. It seems like painting HDPE probably doesn't work well. Checking google "HDPE sheet is produced with a closed cell structure polymer. This means it will not absorb liquids, but also means that paint or stain will not adhere to it". Maybe someone will have a more positive or well researched answer. Good luck.

    yeah it seems like a real pain in the ass to paint. It was a gift from someone so I guess I can just shoot em an email and see if I can get a swap

    When they ship the new one (they should let you do an exchange...) make sure they send the longer bottom screws with it.

    Don’t pay for those screws. I called a week after I got mine & they overnight’d the screws. If they have a disclaimer now - u may have to buy then
