Now I need to find a place that has a compressor capable of pushing 250+ psi that will fill my bumper before I head out to wheel.

You can get places to fill homemade containers with nitrogen? If so, how much is it? I've heard nitrogen is actually good to fill tires with too.

kinda doubt that, but you could get yourself a nitrogen tank that someone will fill and fill your bumper from that.

I think the nitrogen in tires thing is mostly bs. it's supposed to be stable and not change pressure with temperature. bfd

I am going to hook up the OBA to the bumper so it will be able to keep it at a sustained 90 psi, I just thought it would be cool to fill it with enough gas to fill more than one set of tires if it wasn't too super expensive.
As far as the nitrogen in tires thing goes, I know that it is a larger molecule and have heard that means that it won't leak from the tires as quickly, but that does sound like bullshit to me too.

This is an english forum. Not sure what language the first part of your post is in.

Aren't you a science teacher? What percentage of our atmosphere is nitrogen?
Do they first hook your tires up to a vacuum to remove all regular atmosphere before filling with nitrogen? How do you think the percentage of nitrogen in a "nitorgen filled" tire compares to the percentage of nitrogen in an "atmosphere filled" tire?

78% of our air is nitrogen. So you're paying for that other 22% mother nature screws you on. :D

Holy shit! I have no idea what Siri did to that first post. I was using voice to text, since I am driving. I don't even remember what I was trying to say right then. And yes you guys are correct on those posts. Normal air is over 70% nitrogen, that is what led me to the "bullshit" comment. I was just hoping that maybe I could find somebody to fill my bumper with nitrogen so that I could start with more gas in there and hopefully fill up my tires without having to use the onboard air. And since nitrogen is so abundant, I figured it would be cheap.

Your bumper isn't going to hold enough air to even fill one tire. Not even a gallon big I bet.

    37 3/16 x 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" = 418.3 cu in

    418.3 cu in / 231 cu in (1gal) = 1.81gal

That is only the main rectangle piece that you see there. I will likely tie in other parts of the bumper since all I have to do is drill a hole between different pieces at the most. I'm guessing that the total capacity will be 2.1-2.5 gal by the time all is said and done.

Edit- now I haven't done the math for how much I will be able to do with it if I fill it to 140psi, which is the best my home compressor can probably do. But it will still hold a decent amount to be a buffer if I ever needed to try to use an air tool or something too.

Still wont be worth betting all your money on airing up with. You'll need a compressor for it anyways. Plus..250psi+?? That's a lot in a bumper...idk..just me I guess. Might as well get a 200psi rated tank and put it where the spare is

Oh I won't be using just that. I have oba that I use now. I have heard of people using roll cages, etc for air tanks so there must be some good use. Maybe not. But it won't be that much extra work to just drill the holes and install fittings for air hose(s). As far as the pressure goes, everything surrounding that chamber is 1/4" thick so I don't see it rupturing, even under impact with a vehicle. And I doubt that I will ever even be able to get a way to get 250 psi in there lol.

Yeah I'm pretty excited to get it done. Hopefully I have another little project done by then too, the reason I don't just put an air tank in the old spare spot. I want to build a basket out of small angle and either expanded metal or really thin plate that will attach to that same mini cable winch thing and have it hold spare parts or other stuff that I rarely use but still like to have with me.
