Did a bit of work today.
Filler plates cut. Unfortunately no time to weld.

Got the bearing races pressed into the swing arm so we could finally assemble the hinge and measure for cutting the spindle down to size.

Some parts Bob threw in with the coilovers I bought from him. A swaybar relocate bracket became a leveling shim for the arm when closed.

A few more pieces to cut, a weld day and a grinding day then ready for final coating and finally done with this bitch.

Looks good Travis. Leave some clearance with those filler plates so you don't pop your taillights out when you hit the bumper. ;)

Planning on it, although I don't know if I left quite enough. It will probably be about a .25" gap.

Wow, haven't updated this thread in FOREVER.
-Still haven't finished the bumper :anonymous: but hope to do that soon before camping season so that I can reconfigure my bed set up.
-Just flushed and refilled ALL fluids and changed plugs. She purrs again.
-not sure what will happen to it next. Probably build a trailer to pull behind for car camping trips.

We will try again and it will be a good CO/WYO blend the next time. Hopefully I can be on 35s by then :spy:

Finishing armor projects, regear with front locker and 35s are about all I still want to do with this truck. Then trick out a trailer. Might start the trailer before any of that other truck stuff though.

I picked up a possible project for $25 from a coworker. Might restore and try to get into BBQ catering (especially for outside events like RT, if I ever get to go again) or strip it down to frame and axle and do an adventure trailer. OR BOTH :headbang:

Yeah a lot this summer with my friends. Gonna go down to Moab for a few days and such. As long as money agrees.
