    Hello all,

So 1 week ago I purchased this '13 Tacoma, I then began searching for a camper shell for it as I intend to build a frame for the back to use while camping in MT/WY/ID. Well yesterday I found pretty much exactly what I was looking for posted for sale 3.5 hours from my location and drove up after work to take a look and it and decided to purchase it. ($800, rhino lined, carpeted interior, Yakima rails, basket, exterior opening flip/sliding screened side windows & tilt down front window)

It will need a a little bit of lite work, mainly the third light is not present so I will look to have one installed.

I would like to use the rails for carrying my girlfriend's & my own kayak, and it would be great to shift the basket forward over the cab to carry smaller items. My concern is that i would like to avoid having it suspended in air like it is now on the Yakima rails.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about mounting it over the cab but as close to flush with the top as possible?

    Thanks!
