I bought this bed rack https://www.discountramps.com/truck/racks/p/UPUT-RACK-HD/

And we built it and tried mounting it today. Even with the bed rails pulled out, there isn't enough surface area to clamp it down. So we are gonna have to drill it into the truck bed sides. There are 3 holes per leg. No clue what type of screw to use, or how long. Don't wanna drill into anything important. Any suggestions?
