how did you mount this rear camera. I’m interested in installing one but don’t want to stick it on the back glass

It is sticked with double sided tape on the back glass :) You can barely see it from outside because of the window tint.

I agree. If you didn't know it was there you probably wouldn't see it (from outside).
I'm just using a suction cup mount on the back window that works good. I can easily take it off or move it around for cleaning, etc.

guess I’m hesitant to possible ruin the tint.

been trying to figure out how to mount one to the roof

Here's how i mounted mine with a binder clip... It's just to the right of the sliding glass window on my Access Cab.

The mounting plate for the tiny camera fits snugly into the area that is curled around and the lens is up against the glass.
I could glue it to make it even more secure but it seems to be pretty bombproof just the way it is.
If you find yours is loose, just pinch it a bit with some plyers or just use double sided tape, hot glue, epoxy, etc...

I like it because if I want to change the camera location I can do it on the fly or even take it through the window if I want and point it in any direction.
I also imagine, depending on the size of the clip, you could mount something much bigger if you need to.

What about those with shells? A 110v ac to 12v dc adapter plugged into the Off Road’s power outlet in the bed? Anyone tried this yet?
