Is there anyway to mount a bigger rooftop tent, like the ikamper, over your cab and the front part of your bed? I know ideally you'd just mount the entire tent over your bed but if like to have at least part of my bed without anything over the top of it. I've heard flex between the cab and bed can be an issue, curious if there's a way around it.

yeah, there's really no way around the frame flex issue(for any brand, there's other yt videos of chevy and ford frames moving similarly) outside of either 'deal with it', or full frame replacement with an entirely custom, fully boxed and tubed frame, and that's high end rock crawler money.
