I'm planning to install the Pelfreybilt hidden winch mount on my truck and am interested in mounting 2x2 pods like the one pictured below. That mount is US Off Road, but I'll have the same space to work with. Anyone know what kind of brackets are available for that?

I'll chime in here. So from my research on the hidden winch mount options Pelfreybilt and US off road have to different mounts. Pelfreybilt is all contained behind the lower valance and the only thing visible is the fair lead. Where as us off-road replaces the entire lower valance with the mount. So you have to cut the entire valance out. The picture you have posted is simple 2x2 pods bolted into the mount on the us off-road one. no special brackets were used.

I'm not sure if there would be anyway to mount pods like that to the Pelfreybilt mount. Due to the fact it is all contained behind the valance. But there is the option of a bamf behind the grill mount for lights, or the apex fabworks/Cali raised fog light replacement. Which replaces the fog's with 2x2 pods and you could do the fog light anytime mod.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks Jerry. Very helpful.

I actually already have the BAMF mount (all filled up). Are you familiar with the lower variance light bar mounts? I was thinking of using those and mounting two pods sideways. Not sure what those brackets bolt down to though.

Usually lower valance bars mount to the crash bar. But the crash bar will be removed when you do the winch mount. If you contact the great people at Pelfreybilt they may be able to fab something for ya or answer your questions better.

That was exactly my concern. Thanks. I'll probably have my local fab guy make something for me.
