mounting location for stock nerf bars?

    do the factory/dealer installed nerf bars mount to 6 holes on the underside of the rocker panel? the bars i got offa ebay say to use these threaded holes...i've use to bars mounting on mounts that connect to the frame. this is on a 06 doublecab. thanks.

    Yes, there are threaded holes there in the frame. There may be plugs in them, I can't remember.

    I just installed my nerf bars... holes have plastic plugs in them, they just pop out (plugs aren't threaded). I used three mounting points on each side (there are 4 mounting points/8 holes on each side) and kept my plugs in case I change the mounting points later
