Mounting my Rockville 8" questions

2000 Tundra Limited, 4x4, access cab, 4.7L, auto

This thing is not going to fit under the drivers side seat in my 97 with the 60/40 setup. The seat hangs to close to the floor. I'm looking at the passengers side and I think it will work out.

How are others attaching them to the floor or carpet? Screw, Velcro, long wire ties?
