    Cool! I just got the rail for the front of my bed and a set of the quick fist. I am going down to Ace tomorrow or Monday to find something to make the brackets out of.

    75$ For the mounts is crazzzzzy tho lol. I do like your set up a lot tho that’s exactly what I want. How do these fit into the bed rails? I’m assuming they slide right in? And how did you mount the quick fist clamps to it?

    They come with t-slots that go inside the rails. I used stainless hardware from Lowe’s for the quick fists. #8 I believe.

    Yap, the T nuts slide into the bed rails then clamp down. Close to the same system the factory tie down cleats use.

    It's super simple. All my career has been in construction/ heavy industry and learning machining is a therapy for me, plus my dad had me in the garage since I could walk. So I guess I'm a bit biased haha

    With the handle in between the ribs, the shovel didn't move at all. Although, I am thinking about the bed mat or LineX just to keep stuff from shifting and ramming into the front and rear.
