Thats a great selection of bad movies, so looks like I may have a few more movies to add to my favorite list. Well done!

I don't know if you watched the "Teenage Catgirls in heat" trailer, but it's pretty close and I can't speak for greeneggsnspam's home movies on VHS/BETA, so you will have to ask him. ;)

I have to say, "Troll 2" was the first movie that became my favorite, as being so bad it was good. I heard the directors and people that made the movie were all Italian, working with Americans, so they had communication problems, which is one of the reasons the movie was so bad it was my favorite.

I've watched most of them, the ones that are questionable were left off the list, I think, though I can't say I recall TCiH all that clearly.

Have you watched the special effects on the Birdemic movie? It's amazing how unrealistic they make the birds look, that it worth watching it just for that. I guess they spit acid and blow up on contact, so they really thought this movie out.

My Wife has asked me in the past what my favorite movie(s) are. I don't really have a favorite movie necessarily, but rather a list of movies that if they're playing, then I'll stop and watch them.

    In no particular order:

    Jaws
    The Last of the Mohicans
    Mad Max (Especially Fury Road)
    Braveheart
    Aliens
    Predator
Star Trek II Wrath of Khan
Star Trek IV The Voyage Home
Star Wars Episodes IV and above
The Lord of the Rings trilogy
Just about any of the Marvel movies

The worst movie I've had the misfortune of actually paying to see was R.I.P.D. WOW, that movie was terrible!

I think this says everything about what type of budget the production team had to work with, but the birds special effects did also.

The movie "Hot Tub Time Machine", got fairly high ratings on Rotten Tomatoes at 63%, but I have learned not to always judge a movie by how the critics rate it at R.T.

Am I the only one that prefers Godfather II over the Godfather?

I saw Drive in the theater and absolutely hated it. They literally filmed Ryan Gosling sitting in a car and waiting for multiple minutes. Most of the movie might be waiting in the car.

I enjoy Black Sails but sometimes it feels like there are too many episodes that are nothing more than dialect.

I will check out the movie Drive and like the movie "Hot Tub Time Machine", a few posts ago got a high rating of 92% on R.T., but that doesn't mean it couldn't be a bad movie. I still use R.T. as a filter, but will watch a movie now and then if I think I might like it, even if it has low ratings and sometimes I love low rated movies.

If you enjoy watching Ryan Gosling chew on a toothpick and stare at various things while mostly sitting in a car, you are going to like Drive.

I did enjoy the movie Nightcrawler and that had a lot of driving, but anything with Jake Gyllenhaal I seem to like.

Thanks for the warning though.

lol Drive was awesome - there was another movie with Ryan G. and the same Director that was terrible though. 'Only God Forgives' I think is the title. I rarely say a movie is 'terrible' unless I don't make it through the whole movie (which is also very rare that I turn one off before it is over) but this one was bad, and I regretfully watched the whole thing

Good idea for a thread OP, I had been thinking about doing one for a while but didn't know how to word what I was looking for. I follow a lot of the individual show threads (game of thrones, walking dead, ect) but wanted a spot just to shoot the shit on all things tv and movies...

I watch a lot of both. My wife and I have very different taste so usually after she goes to bed (around 10pm) I'll either watch a movie (sometimes 2 if they aren't too long) or I'll watch a few eps. of a show that I either DVR'd or is on Netflix/Hulu/Prime. We also have shows and movies that we watch together but they usually have to be comedies or non-thriller dramas.

I've actually got a huge running list of shows on my phone that I am either currently watching or need to watch when I finish some other shows up. Yeah, I am a nerd...

I frequent redbox for the movies I watch. I rarely make it to the theater for anything. Maybe 2-3 times a year. I saw Batman v Superman and Civil War this year. I think I am also going to go see Independence Day 2 when it comes out. I'll also go see Rogue One in Dec (assuming it actually releases on time...).

Just fair warning - I am only 28 and born in the late 80s so my taste are probably vastly different than some of the old-timers (I won't go back through and mention some of the movies I enjoyed that have been previously listed as 'awful' on this thread already) and I haven't seen a lot of the older movies from before I was born or when I was a baby (Godfather, most of the Rockys, ect, ect) but I do intend to see them (I have a running list of movies that I need to see just like my show list that I am trying to work through).

I just watched Drive, after seeing it got a 92% rating on R.T. and didn't think it was bad nor great for that matter, so maybe a 75% rating for me.

A Crime/Drama movie that I watched recently, was called "Cash Only" and starred a foreign actor, that looked a lot like Vin Diesel, but with better acting. It had a lot of violence, but was well acted and I would recommend it.

I think most people are like us and go to the movies only when it will really adds to the experience, so 2-3 sounds like a lot of people.

Thanks for your input to this thread ThunderCookies.......AKA: "Orero-Thor", the God of the shockingly good cookies (made in Mexico-according to Trump). :D
